As with any landowner, at times we have problems with people wandering off the public footpaths and out onto the marsh. This not only poses a safety risk to themselves but also causes disturbance to nesting birds on a SSSI.

In an attempt to combat the problem we had a work party yesterday evening to start erecting new signs we have had produced. Due to past vandalism the signs have been placed at a good height. A good turn out of members made light work of taking the scaffolding posts out. The hope is that people will adhere to the signs and remain safe with disturbance kept to a minimum.
