A couple of years ago as part of our wider conservation efforts, LDWA placed up over 20 bird boxes along its flood banks, boxes supplied by BASC. Happy to report that there has been a good uptake on the boxes, a Blue Tit can be seen here using one just this past week. Over 90% of work we undertake is based around conservation and making the area habitable for a wide range of species.
