LDWA members and guests were out in force on Friday 6th March 2020 to attend their end of season shoot meal. Hosted by Chairman, Mr Andrew Cash, 90 members and guests enjoyed a four-course dinner at The Villa, Wrea Green. It was a chance for everyone to meet up, swap stories and socialise at the end of a successful 2019/20 shooting season.
Entertainment throughout the meal was provided by talented magician Jason Rea and afterwards winners of the Clay-pigeon Shooting Competition (held last summer) were presented with their trophies.
Well done to cup winners Ted Wrigley, Victor Annand and Andy Finch

A raffle and auction were held in aid of local charities Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice, Blackpool. Thank you to those members and guest organisations who kindly donated gifts and shooting days.
Andy Cash and Andy Lee ran the raffle and auction, guests gave generously and a total of £950 was raised for our chosen charities.
Thank you also to John Rodgers and his team at The Villa for helping with the organisation of the event and making sure the evening ran smoothly. The meal and venue were excellent and the room was perfect for our 90 guests; we’ve had many positive comments and everyone enjoyed the evening.
